Historical Monuments and Buildings can be found everywhere in the World, from Capital cities to remote Villages. More often than not, these are Grand Buildings making a real statement, with grand scale that is larger than life, simple materials, workmanship and detailing that is difficult if not possible to achieve with modern equipment materials and technology. Inspiration comes in many forms, historical buildings are indeed an important source. Inspiration is the prompt on the Weekly Photo Challenge this week, and images of Istanbuls’ Blue Mosque are my response to this weeks prompt.
