As the sun recedes behind Table Mountain, so does the sunlight diminish at Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, which lie at the foot of the Mountainside. The slowly receding light becomes increasingly softer until the entire garden is without sunlight, but with still enough daylight. The last bit of sunlight emphasises flowering plants beautifully, by highlighting them, with the backg0round and bottom already in shade. Ephemeral is the prompt on the Weekly Photo Challenge this week, and images of these highlighted plants are my response to the prompt.
